Benchmark of the Best

Malapo Country Lodge was invited to become a member of the Portfolio Collection in 2003 and has remained a member ever since. The Lodge is featured in the 2010 edition of this collection.

Malapo Country Lodge was graded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa for the first time in November 2002 and was awarded a 4-Star grading in the Lodge Accommodation Category. The Lodge has maintained this grading to date.

Malapo Country Lodge achieved a semi-finalist status in the AA Travel Awards program for 2004 in the Country Style Retreats-small category.
