Directions

From JHB and PTA direct route (Toll Plazas)

* Take the N12 or N4 Highway to Witbank.
* Go through the Middelburg toll plaza.*Go through the Machado toll plaza.
* +/- 2km after passing through the Machado toll plaza there is a turn to the left saying "N4 via Schoemanskloof and R36 Lydenburg"
* Turn left.
* 15 km further turn left at the old Bambi Hotel: R36 Lydenburg
* 15 km further you will find a brown facility board indicating Malapo Country Lodge.
* Turn left. 500m dirt road to lodge entrance.

From JHB and PTA alternative route (high clearance vehicle only)

* Take the N12 or N4 Highway to Witbank.
* Go through the Middelburg toll plaza.
* Turn left at Belfast.
* Follow the signs to Dullstroom 33 km.
* Go through the town of Dullstroom.
* Proceed to Lydenburg.
* +/- 32 km from Dullstroom turn right onto a dirt road: Witklip.
* +/- 10 km further at the T-junction turn right on the R36 Machadodorp road.
* +/- 20 km further you will find brown facility boards indicating Malapo Country Lodge.
* Turn right. 500m dirt road to the lodge entrance.

From JHB and PTA alternative route:

* Take the N12 or N4 Highway to Witbank.
* Go through the Middelburg toll plaza.
* Turn left at Belfast.
* Follow the signs to Dullstroom - 33km.
* Go through the town of Dullstroom.
* Proceed to Lydenburg - 52km.
* At the T-junction turn right on the R36 Machadodorp road.
* +/- 35 km further you will find brown facility boards indicating Malapo Country Lodge.
* Turn right. 500m dirt road to the lodge entrance.

From Sabie

* Take the R37 from Sabie to Lydenburg over the Longtom pass
* In Lydenburg turn left at the 4 ways stop wherethere is a Caltex garage on your left.
* You are now on the R36 Machadodorp road.
* +/- 35km from Lydenburg you will find brown facility boards indicating Malapo Country Lodge.
* Turn right. 500m dirt road to the lodge entrance.

From Nelspruit

* Take the N4 to Watervalboven
* +/- 25km further turn right: N4 to Machadodorp via Schoemanskloof and R36 to Lydenburg.
* +/- 50km further turn right on the R36 Lydenburg
* 15 km further you will find brown facility boards indicating Malapo Country Lodge.
* Turn leftt. 500m dirt road to the lodge entrance.
