The Lodge is situated 285km from O R Thambo International Airport and a comfortable 3 hours drive. Malapo Country Lodge is a destination for the discerning traveller or a perfect en-route stop to the Panorama Route of Mpumalanga, the Kruger National Park and various Private Game Reserves. The Lodge is also on the Highlands Meander tourist route and is easily accessible by all vehicle types.
Malapo Country Lodge is set in beautifully manicured gardens and the original farmhouse building forms the focal area of the lodge. This 103-year-old building has been renovated and houses the public areas and facilities.
The town of Lydenburg is a mere 35km drive. The town is the gateway to the historic Longtom Pass and the Panorama Route.
